Tired of the Yes or No Game

As sad as this is, I am really tired of running the Yes or No Game.  I know a lot of people enjoy playing it, but I'm bored of running it, and even the people running the stations are getting bored too.  At first, I had a lot of fun running the Yes or No Game, especially seeing all the people that were interested in trying it out.  I've been running the game for about a week straight now; every single day.  I honestly miss being a "free Pico".  I miss talking to all my friends.  I miss going to the English Park and standing by Mr. Pole.  I miss earning Gummies the hard way.

After ten minutes of battling my internal conflict, with the help of some friends, I finally decided that instead of creating the game every single day, I'm going to run it every other day.  At first, I wanted to run it everyday, and I even promised that I would run it the next day when I said so, because so many people wanted to play it.  I know it may disappoint a lot of people, but I hope you all understand that I need a break every once in a while.  Besides, there are many other Yes or No Games run by other Picos.  Of course, it may not be the same or as good as mine, but it'll have to do temporarily.

I really hope that everybody understands.  I did truly enjoy the popularity and fame, but like every celebrity in Pico and in Real Life, we all need a break every once in a while.  So thank you for understanding, and I hope that I can still continue to please everyone.

I also want to apologize to everybody that I have disregarded.  Ever since I started this game, I have kicked more people than I have ever kicked in two years, and this game has only been going on for a week!  I feel really guilty for all the people that I have kicked, including my own friends.  I want to apologize for all the people that I have kicked.  Another apology is that I'm sorry to all my friends for ignoring you or rarely talking to you.  Because of the game, I barely got a chance to talk to friends.  I have friends that I talk to everyday, and I couldn't talk to them because I was so busy running the game.  It made me even more upset when my friend turned to me, expecting advice and help from me, and I couldn't say much because I was so occupied with the game.  I just want to say sorry for everything that has been happening the past week.  I truly didn't mean to hurt anybody.  I was so busy pleasing others that I forgot about some of the most important people, including myself.  I hope you can all forgive me<3

People Who Have Given Me Credit

The Yes or No Game has gotten extremely popular throughout the past few days.  I was surprised to see how popular it has gotten.  As upset as I was with the people that recreated my Yes or No Game (or in a more blunt way of saying it: copied), there were a few people that gave me credit.  Some people that found out about the post on my blog that I made where it listed Picos that copied my game were angry/upset (http://pico-forever.blogspot.com/2012/06/copiers-of-my-new-game-and-another-new.html).  They confronted me about it and either told me that they didn't intentionally mean to copy and upset me also apologized, so I had taken down their photo and name.  There were a few that I had to go through arguing with, but we were able to resolve it.  As soon as credit was given, and the apology was accepted, I immediately removed their picture.  No harm done.  That was all I ask for honestly.  Just some credit.

In a way, you can probably look at it that I am selfish and I just want popularity.  Truthfully, I kind of do want some popularity, but I want to say that I couldn't have done it without all the people that have helped me run the game and those that played it.  I am pretty well known now thanks to the Yes or No Game that I created.  I enjoy receiving all the praises and being flattered, but once again, I couldn't have done it without everyone else that helped.

One person that took a while of arguing with was ☏ⓢⓣⓔⓟⓗ☂ⓢⓦⓔⓔⓣⓩ✉.  In a previous post (which I had already taken down), I was really upset with the fact that she copied my game and claimed that I didn't create it.  After a very long argument, I finally realized why she was so mad at me.  All she wanted was for that post to be taken down.  I understand that she was probably offended.  As long as I took the post down, she would give me credit when she recreated the event.  We agreed to that, and she told me to come to her room.  She was in the midst of decorating her room for the Yes or No Game when she created a little area for me to stand upon.  I was a little taken back when I was told to go on it.  When I asked for credit, all I expected was for my name to be included in the room title.  Although the unnecessary stand was a bit awkward for me, I did truly appreciate it.

Thank you Stephanie, and I'm glad that we were able to resolve our argument.

Outrageous Pico Prices!

As usual, I check the information window as soon as I get on Pico to check for any new things.  When I saw the new information for about Pico prices of things being adjusted, I thought they were finally going to lower certain prices!  I was absolutely wrong.  Everything is extremely high!  I was freaking out going on a rampage yelling how expensive everything was.  I kept yelling, "OUTRAGEOUS! OUTRAGEOUS!" because it was true!  Everything was outrageous.  Things that were originally 1,000 Gummies, were now up to 3,000 Gummies, and things that could once be bought with Tokens can only be bought with Ameba Gold now!

(Here is the link for the information: http://info.pico.ameba.net/2012/06/26/notice-price-adjustment-in-pico-world/)

I went around Pico looking for clothing items that have changed.  At first, I already thought some prices were too high, now they've just sky rocketed!  Almost all the prices have tripled!

A New Game. :D

Shaman

Hi everybody. It's been a while since I last posted but today, I will give you a reason for that. Or you could say excuse. :)
So, the reason excuse is that I found a new game called Transformice. It's technically where you are a mouse and you run as fast as you can to get the cheese. It's actually stress free. It focuses the mind to think quick as you race against other world-wide players to get the cheese. The more cheese you get, you can buy 'accessories' for your mouse. This game was created by Tigrounette and designed by Melibellule. Those aren't the real names, just gamer tags.

The reason why I shared this with you is that it's a great game for when there is a Pico maintenance

( BEWARE IT'S ADORABLY ADDICTING .)

This is my mouse:

The more cheese you get, you can also get titles.
Like see how it says above my name *Cheese Catcher*? That's a title :)

Up in the right corner of this post is a mouse with blue lines and a feather on it's head.
That's the Shaman. He/she gets chosen every round to have the ability to make objects like bridges to get the  cheese. Each obstacle there is always a challenge that requires the Shaman's help.

Sometimes, they can troll you, too.

There can also be two Shamans. But most likely, they will kill each other with cannon balls.
Hopefully, they will make 'PCE' (Peace) so they can safely get the mice to the cheese and to the hole in time.

There are also different maps. The shaman(s) usually have the pink/blue name above them so you can follow them easier.

There is a lot more to this game. It's just a suggestion to the Pico maintenance's and when you don't have anything to do. :)

I hope you enjoyed my post ^^
And here's the link :D

Copiers of My New Game

It's only been the second day and there have already been a few people who have copied my Yes or No Game.

The only people that gave me credit for my game was ∞נøנø☮ , ℓεмση~ρℓεᴅɢε, K A Y L A ♥™, and Lady Deshay (I can't find her Pico ID so I couldn't copy and paste it >.<)  so I thank you for the four of you guys<3  The rest basically just all plagiarized.  By taking someone's idea and not giving them credit is considered plagiarism, which is against the law, however, I was already aware that this was going to happen.  Of course nobody was going to want to give me credit for something I created.  They wouldn't care.  They just want popularity, but oh well.  I just hope everybody knows that I created the idea of the Yes or No Game.

Yes or No Game (New Game!)

Lately, people on Pico have been making all sorts of games in the events.  There was the fashion show, trivias, mazes, musical chairs, races, and kicking games.  Those were all so much fun, but I felt like I wanted to create a new game.  While I was trying to come up with ideas, my sister (in real life) who is ƒσяєνєя&αℓωαуѕ, she helped me come up with a great idea.  It was called the Yes or No Game.  Originally, this game came from an old virtual game that my sister and I played, and that was a big success on that game, so we decided to bring it over to Pico.  Turns out, it was a huge success!  I've never had a waiting list for my room that was as long as 10 people!  That's the most that has ever happened to me!  It was such a big surprise, and I owe it all to my sister and the people that helped me run the game.  First of all, let me explain the rules of the game.

Rules of the Yes or No Game:

- You have to answer the question that is given to you. (You can't answer with a question or take too long to answer)

- You can't say "yes" or "no" which includes any words that have the words "yes" or "no" in it, like (no)thing for example.

-You can't use contractions (Which are words that have apostrophes in them.  Examples: it's, doesn't, won't, wasn't, I'm, etc. It was saddening to see how many people had no idea what a contraction is o.o)

-You can't use one word answers.

-You should try to use different answers at every station.

At first, people were having a hard time understand how to play the game.  After a while, everyone understood it.  People that lost on their first try, usually came back a second, third, fourth, and even the eighth time!  Yes, some people actually came back about eight times!  It was amazing to see how hard these people tried so that they could win.

I had a lot of fun creating this game, running the game, and watching the game.  I couldn't have done it with the people that helped me.  I want to give credit to these people who are:

Now that this game has become such a success, I'm going to recreate the event every so often.  I'm pretty sure I'll be seeing other people starting this game also.  It feels great to have been able to be the first that started something.  Thank you to everyone who helped me, and thank you to everyone who played it<3

More Changes?

Oh geez, more changes can only mean more complications.  We've only finally begun to understand how to work the "Navi" and find everything, but now there's this!

Why did Pico have to change "Buddies" to "Meet"?  And one of the biggest problems, where's the favorites?!  I can't go to my favorite rooms!

Pico, I think you should just stop changing.  You guys probably think that change is better, because a change to the look of Pico can cause people to continue playing Pico, but no Pico!  You're wrong!  In fact, more people want to leave because everything has become so complicated.  One of the biggest things that upset me was the English Park.

People who see me around Pico, you'll usually find me at the English Park standing by a lamp post, by which I call him, Mr. Pole.  The English Park was like my home.  After I earned all my Gummies, I would go straight to the English Park, and just stand by Mr. Pole and talk to some people.  I was really upset that over the weekend, there has been some problems with Pico about a hacker (from what I heard) that caused a lot of lagging for certain parks.  My favorite English Park was one of them!  I couldn't even be in the park for more than a minute because my window would freeze and unfreeze every few seconds.  Finally, I see that the English Park is once again full, so I figured that everything was fixed.  When I got there, I was shocked.  The park is different!  They changed around the park so that it looks like the Beginner's Plaza.

Why Pico?  Why did you have to change my favorite place?  Even worse, I lost Mr. Pole!  There were so many lamp posts that I couldn't even tell which was one was Mr. Pole.  As heartbreaking as it is, I am replacing Mr. Pole with a new Mr. Pole.

Pico will never be the same for me again...

Almost Losing Another Friend

I try to make as few posts as possible about non-Pico related information/my own experiences, because I feel that Pico Forever should be more directed toward personal opinions and updates about new things on Pico.  However, when it comes to death, or near-death, I feel that it's something important enough to write about, because there's nothing else I can do.

A few months ago, I told everyone of the news about Justin.  I probably never mentioned this, but he's not dead, and he's just in the hospital currently.  He's been back to Pico a little over a month ago.  After almost losing Justin, I was so afraid of losing more people.  I definitely jinxed that.

I don't know if he wants his name mentioned or not, since he didn't want his name mentioned in a story that I wanted to dedicate to him, I guess I'm make up the name, Jack.

The story behind Jack is that he has been depressed for a long time, and is constantly thinking about suicide.  It hurts to know that I can't do anything to help cheer him up.  When a person's depressed, it's almost impossible for them to be happy.  It's as if happy doesn't even exist anymore.  Jack has family, friends, and relationship problems.  With so much chaos surrounding him all the time, I sometimes wonder if he even fakes his happiness.

There has been many times where he has tried to quit Pico or actually kill himself.  The many times he attempted to quit Pico usually failed, which I guess I'm grateful for because I love him so much and don't want to say goodbye, but at the same time, it's a win-lose situation because he's practically failing school because of Pico.  There has been numerous times where he wanted to die, and kept saying he has made up his mind and is going to do it.  He's usually just bluffing and chickens out, but this, it was serious.  I didn't believe that he was going to do it, and I'm still having a hard time believing he actually almost died.  The fact that it was Father's Day yesterday, and he doesn't have a father anymore, probably added onto that sadness, that urged him to want to kill himself even further.

Just half an hour ago, when I got onto Facebook, Jack had a post 10 hours ago that said:

hello, this is nick, some of you may know me. jake did take the pills sadly. in good news he is alive and only took enough to pass out, as far as i know he is still out. but i do assure you all he is fine. he will not be back for a while (few days) . i will be on his pico tmrw for an hour to answer shit (1-2 pm) thank you, and if you have nothing good to say dont say it.

Nick is Jack's friend in real life.  Jack told me that if he actually killed himself, he would have Nick come online and inform everyone.  Jack attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on his antidepressants.  Fortunately, he didn't take too much.  Unfortunately, he's probably going to be in the hospital for a while and I just really want to talk to him.  I feel like I failed my job as a friend in trying to convince him not to kill himself.  I don't even remember how many times I have given him the "I-love-you-so-much-that-I-can't-bear-losing-you-and-that-you-shouldn't-do-this" speech.  I wish I had come on my laptop sooner and seen this message so that I could have gotten a chance to speak to Nick, but I was busy studying for my finals.

Well, I guess I'll go back to studying for the finals.  I hope to see Jack soon<3

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers out there.  Everybody that has a father, remember to tell your dad that you love him, give him a hug, and let him know how much he means to you.  You should appreciate the man that raised you, and works day and night to support the family.  After all, you wouldn't be here without your father.
I think that the reason why Father's Day was created was to remind children to thank their fathers for loving them.  People with fathers take them for granted.  Sure, we can get irritated by them or annoyed by them, but we still have to love them.  There are people out there without fathers that would wish they had one.
It makes me sad that so many of my friends don't have fathers that they can celebrate this day with.  Kids that don't have fathers or mothers dread Father's and Mother's Day.  However, just because you don't have a father/mother doesn't mean that you can't support other people.  Remind them how much they should appreciate having someone special in their lives to love them.  Be happy for them.  Just because you're upset doesn't mean they're not allowed to be happy.
People without fathers this day, I'm sincerely sorry.  If I could, I would raise them back from the dead, or go find them for you.  Every child deserves to have someone in their life to love them.  For the fathers that have passed away, I bet they are really proud of what you grown to become.  For the fathers that have left, they should regret that, because then, they would have never got to meet the amazing person that you have become today.

Ulzzang Contests

This isn't Pico related, but I could use some Picos' help :D

The other day, my friend created a Facebook page called ~UlzzangContests~.  (Ulzzang means "best face" in Korean)  What this page is, is simply a photo contest.  Each week, a "theme/category" will be given, and any person that wants to participate can upload a photo onto the wall.  This can only apply to people who have a Facebook.  We would really appreciate it if you guys (the readers of Pico Forever) could share the word about this Facebook page and check it out.  I made a Youtube video about this so feel free to check that out too:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHc0OUHtMzw

Here is the link to the Facebook page for more information:

New Profile Information

What a new look for Pico!  I come on today and see this absolutely different look for a Pico's profile.  A tad confusing, but once you figure out how to use it, it's actually pretty cool.  I think Pico is trying to keep their gamers by adding some changes anywhere possible, although everything they're changing now is becoming more complicated.  Well, here are some pictures of the new profiles:
