Moon Bathing

We all know what it's like to sun bathe right?  Most people end up with nice tans, or awful sunburns.  Have you ever heard of moon bathing though?  Probably not because it's something I just made up...Anyways, I thought it'd be fun to pretend like we're sun bathing, except with the moon.  The weather seems a lot like summer lately though.  If you live on the East Coast, like Kat and I, we have been having temperatures up to 80 degrees!  Spring just started, so imagine what summer would be like!  Well, here we are, Kat, my sister (in real life), and me, moon bathing at the Football Field.  I've also noticed something...Pico doesn't even have a moon o.o

Happy Spring everybody! ~

Pink Escargot

It has been a while since my last post.  I just didn't know what to post about >.< So I decided I'd talk about the Pink Escargot.  As soon as I got on and saw that, I was like, "Whoa."  Of course, I'm not a big fan of pink, but the idea of coming up with another color for the escargots was interesting and new.  Personally, I think making a pink Escargot doesn't seem very "elite".  Considering the fact that Escargots are extremely expensive (1,000,000/1,500,00 Casino $), they seem more sophisticated.  Colors like black and red are more luxurious.  A pink Escargot seems a little childish...I'm just stating my personal opinion >.>  Since it's a 10x Slots campaign, I wanted to take advantage of the campaign so I can finish my 2nd Anniversary Challenge [:  While I was playing Slots, I noticed a girl who already had the pink Escargot!  These people probably spend their lives in the Casino....Well, here's the girl~

Self-Harm Awareness Day

Last night, I learned that it was Self-Harm Awareness Day.  By that time, it was already late and I had to go to bed.  However, I want to make a post about it, even though it's not Self-Harm Awareness Day anymore.
For people who don't know what this day is (the name of the day is pretty self explanatory), it's a day dedicated to people who harm themselves, such as cutting, burning, biting, stabbing, and literally beating them self up.  This day is important because if you know someone who harm them self, speak up and try to help them.  Self injuries are really serious and should be taken seriously.  Most of the time, people who harm themselves are usually caused by something in their life.  It could be either a traumatic event in their past, any difficult relationships, family problems, stress, depression, etc.
Going back to the whole stereotype with the word "emo", please never label these people as "emo".  That is very offensive and hurtful.  These people are emotionally troubled, and calling names and making fun of them makes things worse.
I have friends who harm themselves, and I'm trying everyday to try and get them to stop.  However, it's easier said than done.  When you're deeply depressed, it's hard to just stop.  The person will gradually get better though.  Treat the person with care and respect.  Try not to bring up anything that could offend them.  Remember, these people are sensitive, and saying just the wrong word could set them off.
As for myself, I have been through depression before.  I have even been through the whole cutting situation.  In fact, I'm currently still depressed.  I have recently stopped cutting for a month, and I was pleased with that.  Then yesterday, some things happened and that caused me to cut again sadly.  Since my wrist is already covered with scars, I needed a new place to cut.  As horrific as this is, I have begun cutting my leg.  Yes, my leg.  I needed to find a place where people couldn't see it.  I know this is bad for me, but when you're depressed, I'm willing to try anything to cope.  Since I'm afraid to vent, because of how people will react, I hurt myself.  I always think, "I let out my pain through another form of pain."  I let out my emotional pain through physical pain.
I know I seem like a hypocrite, and I know I am, but some things just aren't easy.  That's why I don't want anyone to end up like me.  If you have any depression, or suicidal thoughts, or any other problems, talk to someone before it's too late.  Happiness is valuable, so keep hold onto it.

P.S.
I found this website that gave some really good information about Self-Harm Awareness Day.  Check it out: http://beccalicious.deviantart.com/journal/Self-Harm-Awareness-day-1st-March-2012-288021434

Where's Your Pico Anniversary Spirit?

So maybe not all of us are exactly "happy" with the new items for the Anniversary (*ahem* me >.>), but, it's still a big deal, because Pico has only been around for two years, and it feels like it's been around forever.  Ameba Pico is probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me.  If it wasn't for this game, I would've never met the amazing friends I have now<3  Here are two people I found with some really nice Pico Anniversary spirit[:

Also, go check out Chloe's newly decorated house~  I waited for 30 people, which I think is not worth it because there wasn't much to see...but still :P

And, if you guys haven't noticed, try ringing your friends and rooms and see what comes up!  Yup, it's a giant cannon shooting confetti!  I love this idea because I think it's hilarious and cute.

Stop Changing Pico!

Last night, I was playing Pico when all of a sudden, the screen went gray and it said to refresh.  I refreshed and there was a Pico Maintenance.  I thought, "Grr, I want to play, but the maintenance could mean Pico is creating something new."  I was excited until I came on Pico today...
Everything is so different, and I hate it.  Pico is constantly changing, and changing for the worse.  Even my friends agree it's awful.  We all miss the old Pico ):

It took me ten minutes until I finally found where the Events went.  They were in Travel...

 I can't see any of my friends' faces );

Why did Pico need to make a separate section (Ranking) for the Hot 30 and Favorites?

All these changes are unneeded!  Why doesn't Pico make some better changes instead, like more Gummie items and make earning Ameba Gold easier?
When I heard about the 2nd Anniversary for Pico, I couldn't wait because I remembered last year had some really cute things.  Then I went to the park and saw that everything was Ameba Gold!  Honestly, the Clown Theme doesn't seem very creative.

The outfits are so cute, but when you don't have Ameba Gold, you just get discouraged.

So many Picos are quitting Pico because of these constant changes.  Come one everybody, we should let Pico know to stop changing and bring the Old Pico back!  Send Pico letters and comments on their new changes!  Maybe we can bring everything back to normal!

Stop Stereotyping the Word "Emo"

When you look at this picture, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?

Most people would say emo.

Let me ask you this, what is the definition of emo?  Probably 97% of you would say, "Someone who is emo cut themselves, wear dark clothing, have poofy colorful hair, and wear dark eye makeup."
Well that is 100% false.  The actual definition of emo is a person who is sensitive and emotional.  A person who is emo tend to be really sensitive and get emotionally hurt easily.  Originally, emo was a genre of music, not even a style to begin with.  If you think the way a person is dressing looks "emo", you're probably referring to "scene" or "goth".  Those are styles.  Please do not stereotype the word emo.  I find it highly offensive to people who are deeply depressed, because people who do label themselves "emo" don't even know the true meaning of it.

Also, people who call themselves emo usually aren't.  In fact, they seem to be proud of being "emo".  A person who is truly emo would never consider themselves emo, and aren't proud to admit they are depressed or cut themselves.  I've came across people who actually call themselves emo just because they cut themselves, or have "emo hair" and "emo clothes" which don't really exist.

So I'm just putting this out there for you people who stereotype this word.  Thanks for reading.
