Newb and Noob....Same Thing? NO!

I was at another Trivia Game event :P (no shock there lol)  So this girl won and since she didn't have any Ameba Gold, the owner shouted, NOOB WINS! I got really mad and said that she wasn't a noob.  Then a girl that did have Ameba Gold started saying how she was. Here's the conversation I had with that girl:

And at that point I just left because her ignorance was annoying me. -.- So here is the difference between a newbie and noob.  A newbie is someone who is new and just started.  A noob is someone who is stupid or useless, but has become an insult that the "rich" people call the "non-rich" which I find really offensive.  Especially when people call it the "Nooby Park" when it's really called the Beginner's Plaza : /
